1. Who we are

JJA Clearance Removals Man and Van Services (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We cover Suffolk and Norfolk. You can contact us on 07359 322681 or at JJAClearance@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

We keep this to a minimum. There is no contact form on this website. When you get in touch with us by phone, text or WhatsApp, we may receive:

  • Your name and mobile number, and the content of your messages.
  • Any photos you send us, for example of the items to be cleared.
  • The address of the job and any other details you give us so that we can quote and carry out the work.

This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to you, give you a price, and arrange and carry out the job.
  • To keep the records we need for accounting and legal purposes.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Legal basis

We process the details you send us on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a request you have made) and, where a job is booked, to take steps towards a contract.

5. Third parties

Some services handle data on our behalf or as part of how you contact us, each under its own privacy policy:

  • WhatsApp (Meta), and your mobile network, if you message or send photos to us that way.
  • Vercel, which hosts this website.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages and photos for as long as is reasonably needed to deal with your enquiry and, if you become a customer, for the duration of the job plus any period required for accounting and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your messages and photos sooner.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or ask us to delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To use any of these rights, contact us on 07359 322681 or at JJAClearance@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
